Georgia Southern returns to the course at the Edisto Island Invitational. It's the third straight season the Eagles have competed in the event. Two Eagles finished in the top-5 and the team finished tied for third last season.
The tournament features 16 teams scheduled to play 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday at The Plantation Course at Edisto. GS is paired with Charleston and East Carolina and will tee off on holes 1-3 in a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.
The Eagles wrapped up its west coast swing at the Molly Invitational. Louise Reau led the Eagles finishing tied for 11th and shooting 68 in the second round. The team finished in seventh place.
Abby Newton makes her 34th career start, Yerxa makes her 14th start in the lineup, and Regina Plascencia makes her third appearance this season. Freshmen Emma von Hoffmann and Reau make their fourth career start in the Eagle lineup.
Alex Stevenson, Avery Robinson, and Karlee Vardas will compete as individuals during the tournament.
