STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern men's soccer team is set to take on the Georgia State Panthers in a road conference match on Friday, Oct. 13, in Atlanta, Ga. The match is scheduled to kick-off at 7 p.m.
The Eagles come into the match with a 1-6-5 record, including a 0-2-2 clip in conference after falling in a midweek match against the College of Charleston Cougars. The Panthers carry a 4-4-4 record into the match, along with a 1-2-1 record in conference play, after dropping a road match against the top-ranked Marshall Thundering Herd on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2-0.
The Eagles are 11-31-7 all-time against the Panthers, and are 5-15-1 against Georgia State on the road, The Eagles last road win against Georgia State came in 2019, whenÂ
Asgeir Kristjansson scored a goal with 26 seconds left in the match to lift the Eagles over the Panthers, 2-1.
