PREVIEW: Eagles Ready to Take On In-State Foe Mercer

STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern men's soccer team is set to face the Mercer Bears on Tuesday, September 27, at Betts Stadium. Kickoff from Macon is set for 7 PM.
The Eagles come into the match with a 1-7 record after dropping a 1-0 match on the road to SBC foe South Carolina. Mercer comes into the match with a 3-2-4 overall record after fighting to a draw with UNF in Macon.
Georgia Southern is 24-29 all-time against the Bears, with the team's last win against MU coming in 2016, which was a 2-1 victory on the road. GS has an 11-14 all-time record on the road against the Bears.
The two squads have faced two common opponenets thus far, with both falling to FGCU, and GS defeating UNF while Mercer tied against UNF.
