Parker Claxton tied for 26th in his Eagle debut, and classmate
Luke Koenig tied for 29th in his as four Eagle competed as individuals at the Mizuno Intercollegiate at Chattahoochee Golf Club Monday and Tuesday.
The field featured 11 teams in the Division II top-25, according to Golfstat, and 108 individuals. Claxton shot a 73-72-74=219 (+3), and Koenig carded a 76-74-70=220 (+4).
Koenig's third-round 70 today featured three birdies, and he played the front 9 2-under. Claxton shot a 72 in the second round yesterday with four birdies and played his final four holes 1-under.
Jack Boltja also shot 70 today with five birdies and was 2-under on his final four holes.
