PREVIEW: Eagles Fly South to Face North Florida

STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern men's soccer team will take on the North Florida Ospreys on Tuesday, September 13, at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida. Kickoff is set for 7 PM.

Both Georgia Southern and North Florida come into the match with identical 0-4-0 records. The Eagles are coming off a close loss to Florida Gulf Coast, 2-0, while the Ospreys are coming off a loss to ASUN foe Central Arkansas, 2-0.

The Eagles own a 10-5-1 all-time record against the Ospreys. The last time the two met, the Eagles defeated UNF by a score of 2-1 in Statesboro. Georgia Southern currently has a five-match winning streak over UNF and have won eight of the last 10 over UNF.

In comparison of season stats, the Eagles have a higher shot percentage than the Ospreys, and carry a shot-on-goal percentage of 0.281 to UNF's 0.268.

The Eagles are facing the second of four opponents from the Sunshine State this season. GS has already played FGCU, and after UNF, the Eagles will face Jacksonville and Stetson, both on the road.
