Eagles will scrimmage against two other teams before the Fall World Series

STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern baseball team announced their fall practice schedule on Tuesday, August 2. The schedule includes two scrimmages against other institutions and the yearly intra-squad Fall World Series.

The first official day of practice is Thursday, September 15. The team will hold intra-squad scrimmages that are open to the public every week, tentatively scheduled for every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with every Sunday reserved as a weather/make up day.

The first fall scrimmage against another team will be on Saturday, October 8, as GS will welcome the NJCAA's South Georgia State Hawks into J.I. Clements Stadium. Two weeks later, October 22, the Big South's USC Upstate Spartans will make the trip down to Statesboro for a scrimmage.

Beginning on Thursday, October 27, the Eagles will begin their annual Fall World Series to conclude fall practice. Team names and players have not yet been named. Stay tuned to GSEagles.com and Georgia Southern Baseball's social media channels to hear when team selections have been named.
