Quotables from Coach Mimi Burke
"I am so proud of the whole team and how they battled today to pull off a great win. Each and every one of them handled themselves professionally and made it look easy. It's really special to me that my first win as a head coach and our first win as a team was my homecoming to App State's tournament. We will enjoy the next day celebrating as it doesn't come often, but in saying that, we still have a lot of work to do. In our first two rounds, we left a ton of shots out there. We are going to clean a few things up and get in gear for Sun Belt next weekend. Hail Southern!"
