Men’s Golf Tied for Second After First Round at Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate

Wilson Andress and Hogan Ingram are in the top-10.
JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. – Wilson Andress shot a 68, and Hogan Ingram posted a 69 to lead the Georgia Southern men's golf team into a tie for second place after the first round of the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate at Blackthorn Golf Club Sunday.
The Eagles (-9) are tied with Cincinnati, two strokes behind tournament host ETSU (-11). Missouri (-4) is in third, while MTSU (-2), Furman and Augusta are tied for fifth.
Andress is tied for second, and Ingram is tied for 10th. Brantley Baker shot a 70 and is tied for 15th, and Mason Williams rounded out the Eagle counters with a 72.
Andress made five birdies on the day and shot 2-under on each side after finishing his day with a birdie on 18. Ingram made six birdies, including four of five holes on the front, and played the back nine clean with birdies at 12 and 14. Baker shot 1-under on the front and made three birdies on the back, including 18.
