PREVIEW: Swimming and Diving Compete in First Meet of the Season

Eagles take on UNF, FSU in Jacksonville
STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern Swimming & Diving squad will compete in their first meet of the season this weekend at North Florida.
The Eagles will start at 11 a.m. competing against Florida State and UNF. The meet will be streamed through UNF.
The Eagles were scheduled to compete last weekend, but due to Hurricane Ian the meet was rescheduled for this weekend. This is the first meet that the Eagles will be led by interim head coach, Dave Gendernalik.
Of Note: The last time the Eagles matched up with UNF was in the 2021 season defeating the Ospreys 145.5 to 116.5. The Eagles won 10 of the 14 events swam and had five first and second sweeps in final heats.
