Quickly: Georgia Southern will host seven other schools - Jacksonville State, Kennesaw State, Mercer, Troy, Georgia State, Emory and Chattanooga - for the GS Fall Shootout on Friday through Sunday at the Wallis Tennis Center ... Play begins at 9 a.m. on Friday and will consist of three sessions on Friday (9 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m.), two sessions on Saturday (9 a.m., 1 p.m.) and two sessions on Sunday (9 a.m., 1:15 p.m.) ... This will be the first action of the Fall for the Eagles. Georgia Southern was supposed to open up play last weekend at the Mercer Gridiron Classic but Hurricane Ian forced the postponement of the tournament.
