The Eagles travel to Boone for two matches next weekend.
STATESBORO – Sophie Davis tallied 12 kills and eight blocks to lead James Madison to a 3-0 (25-22, 25-16, 25-14) Sun Belt volleyball win over Georgia Southern Saturday afternoon in Hanner Fieldhouse.

Emily Jarome posted 11 kills, four digs and a block to lead the Eagles (14-8, 6-4), and Paige Powers finished with eight kills and six digs.

Georgia Southern trimmed a six-point deficit in the first set to 23-21 on consecutive kills by Jarome and Baylor Bumford. James Madison (17-4, 11-1) answered with a kill by Davis and after a service error, won the set 25-22 on a hitting error by the Eagles.
