PREVIEW: Eagles Set to Take On #6 Marshall

STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern men's soccer team is set to take on the sixth-ranked Marshall Thundering Herd on Sunday, October 23, at Hoops Family Field. Kick-off is set for 7 PM.
This will be the seventh time the Eagles and the Herd meet in a match. Georgia Southern owns a 3-2-1 record over Marshall. The last match-up between the two was a neutral-site match iin Greenville, SC, in November of 1996. The Eagles won that match, 2-0.
GS comes into the game 1-11-1 after earning a tie against Stetson on Tuesday, October 18. Marshall holds a 7-2-3 record after drawing with Georgia State, 1-1, on Wednesday, October 19.
