Georgia Southern opens the season at the Gopher Invitational Sept. 12-13 at Windsong Farm Golf Club. It's the Eagles' first appearance in the event.

The Eagles return six letterwinners from last season's team that won the Sun Belt Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Ben Carr and Mason Williams were named All-Sun Belt last spring and will serve as the team captains this season. Luke Dasher, who finished second at the Sun Belt Championships, is also back for the Eagles.

Georgia Southern finished in the top-3 in three of its last four events of the 2020-21 season. 

Carr makes his 30th career start in the lineup, Wilson Andress will make his 14th appearance in the lineup and Dasher makes his fifth career start. Freshmen Hogan Ingram and Jack Boltja will make their collegiate debuts. Lindsey Cordell will play in the Minnesota Golf Classic, an individual tournament at Pioneer Creek Golf Course. He is scheduled to play 18 holes Saturday and 36 Sunday. 

The Eagles are paired with Marquette and Notre Dame for Sunday's first two rounds and will tee off the first hole at 8:15 a.m. ET
