Swimming and Dive Earns CSCAA Academic Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – The Collegiate Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has announced that the Georgia Southern Swimming and Diving program has earned Scholar All-America honors for their efforts in the classroom last semester. The team earned the honor posting a GPA of 3.41.
"Coach Caldwell consistently produces winners in the pool and classroom and this year is no exception," noted CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart. "These are some of the best ambassadors of Georgia Southern and Athletic Director Benko, President Marrero, and Dr. Chirs Geyerman (Faculty Athletic Representative) can and should be proud of these 22 women."
In total, 721 programs from 426 institutions earned the honor. CSCAA will name its individual Scholar All-America team next week.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organizations of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
