STATESBORO – Georgia Southern Athletics honored 54 expected graduating student-athletes with a special stole ceremony Thursday afternoon at Allen E. Paulson Stadium. The Athletic Department handed out stoles that will be used to signify student-athletes at next week's Georgia Southern University commencement ceremony where at least one member of all 15 GS athletics programs will earn their degree.

Twenty-eight of the student-athletes also received rings signifying that they will be graduating with at least a 3.0 grade point average (GPA). Those 28 are Parker Biederer (BSB), Mitchell Golden (BSB), Nick Jones (BSB), Eito Yuminami (MBB), Tatum Barber (WBB), Jacob Bayer (MG), Jake Maples (MG), Avery Price (MG), Aldair Cortes (MSOC), Gaye Diadie (MSOC), Cody Prentiss (MSOC), Brooke Barrett (WSOC), Brogan Boudreaux (WSOC), Maddie Klintworth (WSOC), Megan Przybysz (WSOC), Kristin Sandifer (WSOC), Isabelle Bray (S&D), Klaudia Holt (S&D), Katie Kennedy (S&D), Randi Kiser (S&D), Katie Knight (S&D), Jessica Ware (S&D), Pascal Wagemaker (MTEN), Mekhia Freeman (SB), Ashlynn Gunter (SB), Harlee Rewis (SB), Shayla Smith (SB) and Charlotte van Diemen (WTEN).
