
Women's Tennis Announces Schedule Changes

Eagles pick up a trio of matches, reschedule previously postponed ones
STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern women's tennis team has announced several schedule changes, including the additions of new matches to the 2021 schedule.
The Eagles will have three new matches at the Wallis Tennis Center with these changes. The March 13 match against Stetson, originally scheduled for Savannah, will now be played in Statesboro at 10 a.m.
Georgia Southern will also now play Mercer on March 24 at 1 p.m. in a reschedule of a previously postponed match.
Finally, the Eagles will face Emory University on April 4 at 1 p.m. at the Wallis Tennis Center. The match will also serve as Senior Day for the Eagles this season.
Other schedule changes include the addition of a pair of neutral-site matches on March 11 in Hilton Head, S.C., as the Eagles will take on UNC Wilmington at 1 p.m. and Albany State at 5 p.m.
Georgia Southern will visit Presbyterian on March 16 in a reschedule of a previously postponed match, and the Eagles will make the return trip to Mercer on March 31 in Macon at 2:30 p.m.
The Eagles open up Sun Belt Conference play this Saturday, March 6, taking on Coastal Carolina at 10 a.m. in Conway.
