STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern men's tennis picked up their fifth win in a row on Sunday afternoon, defeating Mercer 5-2 on the road. The Eagles improved to 7-2 on the season, while Mercer falls to 2-7.Â
In doubles play the Eagles would sweep all three courts, highlighted by a big win by Alexandros Roumpis and Pascal Wagemaker 7-6 on court one. In singles play, Tao Castillo defeated his opponent 6-4, 7-6 on court three, while Pascal Wagemaker and Valentin Dun won in straight sets.
The Eagles will take the courts again at home on Friday March 5th, as they host Davidson at the Wallis Tennis Center. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
