Women's Basketball Adds Weekend Home Games Against NC Central

Eagles will play NCCU on Saturday and Sunday in Hanner, replacing the lost Coastal Carolina games
STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern women's basketball team has added a pair of games this weekend in Hanner Fieldhouse to the schedule. The Eagles will host North Carolina Central University on Saturday, Feb. 20, at 3 p.m., then again on Sunday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m.
After losing this weekend's scheduled Sun Belt games against Coastal Carolina due to COVID-19 protocols with the Chanticleers, Georgia Southern worked quickly to bring in the Eagles, out of the MEAC, for a pair of games. These will be the first two meetings between the two schools in program history.
Both games will be streamed on ESPN+ and you can also listen to the action on the GS Sports Network at GSEagles.com.
