QUOTING COACH MURPHY
"I'm so disappointed for this group as they left everything on the field for 90 minutes plus. The fight, desire and spirit were very high tonight as it has been all season. But the little margins make all the difference at this level and the ball broke poorly for us on both of their goals. I thought we played through them at times quite well and created quality chances in a tight, well played match. I'm proud of my team. We will use this season to learn from and the spring semester to further grow and develop. We will push on to better things in 2022. Finally, I'd like to thank all our seniors who have given so much to our program, the department, and the university on and off the field during their time with us. We are a better program today because of their contributions."
