STATESBORO, Ga. - On Monday morning, Georgia Southern Women's Soccer revealed its 2020 conference schedule to the public. The new 2020-21 schedule format, as voted on by Athletic Directors in the conference, will see women's soccer implement a divisional schedule, splitting into an East and West division. The top four programs from each division will advance to the Sun Belt Championships in Foley, Alabama. 

With the implementation of two divisions in women's soccer this season, the Eagles will take on five conference opponents in a home-and-home series throughout the year. GS will play Coastal Carolina, Appalachian State, Georgia State, South Alabama and Troy, two times this season. 

Conference play will open up on September 17th, as the Eagles will travel to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to face off against Coastal Carolina. GS will return home for a conference match against Appalachian State on September 20th.

Following a Thursday non-conference match at home, the Eagles will hit the road for three straight conference matches before returning back to the friendly confines of Eagle Field. GS will head to Atlanta to close out the month of September and then head to Mobile and Troy, Alabama to face off against South Alabama and Troy.

The blue and white return home for a one match home stand against Coastal Carolina on October 8th, before hitting the road to cap off the home-and-home series against Appalachian State on October 11th. GS concludes the 2020 season with a three match home stand inside Eagle Field. The Eagles will host Georgia State, South Alabama and Troy, before preparing for the Sun Belt Championships in Foley, Alabama.
