Quotables
Head Coach Anita Howard on the effort of the Eagles tonight against the Ragin' Cajuns
"It just talks about how we display the will to win, but we've now got to figure out just how to win. But we are laying the foundation. We dug ourselves into a hole in the first quarter, but we didn't give up and I'm proud of that. We needed to win the rebounding war, and I think they kind of outhustled us a bit. We really focused on that coming in the game.Â
On the end of her first season as head coach of the Eagles
"We've got xix seniors to send off, and those are going to be some huge shoes to fill. I think we did a great job getting here this year [to the Sun Belt Conference Tournament] and now we start to build towards being in this position every year of playing in the postseason."
