GS Swimming and Diving Falls to Georgia Tech and SCAD – Savannah

ATLANTA, Ga – Georgia Southern Swimming and Diving lost to Georgia Tech 56-237 and SCAD- Savannah 75-207 on Saturday.
The best finish of the meet came from the Eagles' 200 Free Relay team. Holland Danskin, Jessica Ware, Maddie Cordle and Ashley Kubel swam a 1:44.66 in the race to give the them at third place finish.
The Eagles had eight other top-five finishes. Ware finished fourth in the 100 fly with a time of 59.14. Isabelle Bray also finished fourth in the 200 IM with a time of 2:16.24. The 200 Medley Relay team of Elizabeth Chemey, Bray, Ware and Cordle swam to a fifth place finish of 1:52.98. Ware finished fifth in the 200 Fly with a time of 2:11.01. Chemey finished fifth in the 200 Back in 2:14.94. Katie Knight finished fifth in the 1 Meter dive with a score of 236.98. Gretchen Mossburg also finished fifth in the 3 Meter dive with a score of 247.28.
