QUOTING COACH CALDWELL
"A great weekend for our program - many of the women competed in their first or second completion of the season at a high level. With no rest going into the meet, we were excited to see these kinds of performances as a staff across the board. The possibilities for the rest of the season, has us very grateful for the opportunity to compete. Many of the women were setting collegiate bests and are competing better than they did a year ago. I am so proud of the work they have put in so far this season. Our freshman definitely stepped up big time and our returners were great in not only being competitive, but also in guiding the freshman through the highs and lows of a 3-day meet. Competitions like this is a great way to prepare and rehearse for our conference championships at the end of February. Competing against FGCU and FIU who are at the top of their conferences respectively helped us compete at a higher level. I cannot wait until we compete again in January as we head back to the pool to fine tune some of the finer details on the board and in the water the next two months."
