Quotables from Coach Emily Kuhfeld
"This tournament was our first one back, and it was good to get back in competition. We saw a lot of the same things we have been doing in preparation that were really great and a couple things we can tweak a little bit in time for Mercer and the rest of the season."
"I'm excited to make some adjustments and also to continue the confidence we've been building. I feel like everybody contributed and overcame their own personal hurdles in three days, which is pretty cool to see. I'm especially proud of the two freshmen for really stepping up. When they are a little upset at shooting even par, that's a good sign that we have some competitors and the sky is the limit for them."
"A special shout out to Kaysie Harrelson. This was her first college tournament, and she was so steady and finished with three birdies in her last four holes when her team really needed it. I'm very proud of Kaysie and all the hard work she put in. She's been so consistent, her attitude has been great the whole time and that really showed."
