PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. – Emma Bell backed up yesterday's 74 with a 2-over 73 in Tuesday's second round, and the Georgia Southern women's golf team is tied for eighth at the Callaway Gardens Invitational at Callaway Gardens Lake View Course.
Middle Tennessee (+10) leads the tournament, Central Arkansas (+12) is second and Troy (+14) is third. Georgia Southern is tied with Little Rock, just a stroke back of Western Kentucky in seventh and nine behind Mercer in fifth.
Bell made four birdies on the front and finished her round with seven consecutive pars.
Hailey Katona parred her first six holes and played the back nine 1-over with a birdie at 12 to post a 75.
Kaysie Harrelson started the round with five straight pars and shot 1-over on the back with a birdie at 12 to post a 74.
Ella Ofstedahl made 14 pars on her way to a 75.
