Quickly: Georgia Southern will take on its first nationally-ranked foe of the season by traveling to Fort Myers, Fla., to take on Florida Gulf Coast on Sunday afternoon ... FGCU is 2-0-1 on the season after a pair of stellar road results in Michigan on opening weekend, defeating #13 Michigan and playing #7 Michigan State to a draw. The Eagles then opened up their home slate on Friday with a win over Seton Hall ... The Georgia Southern Eagles are 2-0 after winning both matches at the Aaron Olitsky Memorial Classic, hosted by the College of Charleston, last weekend. Friday's scheduled home opener vs. Merrimack was canceled due to travel issues caused by Hurricane Dorian ... Alhaji Tambadu was named the MVP of the Classic for scoring three goals on three shots, including a pair in the season-opening 4-2 win over UNC Wilmington. Tambadu also earned Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week honors and claimed a spot on College Soccer News' National Team of the Week ... This will be the second meeting between the two teams.
