STATESBORO, Ga. – The Georgia Southern women's soccer team lost 2-0 to Louisiana
The only two goals of the game were scored by Louisiana's Karleen Bedre in the seventh and 13th minutes. The rest of the game remained scoreless for both team and was relatively evenly fought.
Georgia Southern had four total shots with
Dani Coumbs having two and
Frida Brattum and
Nicole Aussin having one each.
Sallie Newton was in goal the who 90 minutes and had four saves.
The Sun Belt standings will be released Sunday night. Right now, Georgia Southern is tied for eighth, which is the cut-off for the tournament, with Little Rock.
