Quickly: Georgia Southern is on the road for the last two games of regular season play this weekend. Louisiana is 7-6-3 overall and 3-3-2 in the Sun Belt. They have won games against App State, Coastal Carolina and ULM. Louisiana lost to Georgia State, Texas State and Arkansas and tied Little Rock and South Alabama. Defender Gwen Mummert won Defensive Player of the Week on September 24. The team is currently ranked fifth in the Sun Belt Standings, just one point above Georgia Southern. Last year, the Eagles beat the Ragin' Cajuns 2-0 in Statesboro but Louisiana still leads all times 3-2 in wins.

Quickly: Texas State is currently 8-6-2 overall and 4-3-1 in the Sun Belt. They won their games against ULM, App State, Louisiana and Coastal Carolina, lost to Georgia State, Arkansas State and South Alabama and tied 0-0 with Little Rock. Forward Kaylee Davis has be awarded Offensive Player of the Week twice this year on September 3 and October 8. Texas State also has two Defensive Player of the Week wins from the first two weeks of the season. Genesis Turman won on August 27 and Heather Martin won on September 3.
 
Last year, the Eagles lost 0-3 to the Bobcats at Eagle Field. Texas State went on the win the regular season Sun Belt Championship and made it to the final game of the tournament before losing to Little Rock. All time, the Eagels trail the Bobcats 1-3-1.
 
            
The Eagles are currently tied for sixth in the Sun Belt standings with Coastal Carolina, Little Rock and Georgia State. The Eagles win the tie breaker of having the most goals scored in matches between the four teams. Little Rock has one game this weekend on Sunday against Arkansas State. Coastal Carolina plays Arkansas State on Friday and ULM on Sunday. Georgia State plays ULM on Friday and App State on Sunday. The Sun Belt Tournament should be released after all teams finish play on Sunday, barring any games that are forced to be rescheduled.
