Georgia Southern finishes the fall season in the Bahamas as the Eagles play in the White Sands Invitational Nov. 1-3. The field features five teams in the top-50, according to Golfstat, including No. 2 Wake Forest and No. 3 SMU.

The Eagles are coming off a 13th-place outing at the Fighting Irish Classic Oct. 8. Ben Carr tied for 18th to lead Georgia Southern. 

Georgia Southern has a team victory to its credit this season as the Eagles won the J.T. Poston Invitational for the second-straight year. Four Eagles finished in the top-10 and six finished in the top-30. Mason Williams (-13) tied for second for his best career finish and was named the Sun Belt Conference Golfer of the Week. 

Georgia Southern set a 54-hole team tournament record with a 47-under par 805 over at the event. The score also set the school record for team score in a 54-hole event, beating the previous mark by 13 strokes, and the Eagles are the first team to repeat as champion in the 14-year history of West Carolina-hosted events at the Country Club of Sapphire Valley. Brett Barron (-10) tied for fourth, Carr (-9) tied for seventh and Jake Maples (-8) placed ninth.

Barron makes his 31st career start this week and has been in the lineup in the last 10 tournaments, and Carr makes his 16th start in the lineup for the Eagles. Maples makes his ninth start in the lineup, and Williams will be in the lineup for the 12th time in his career. Wilson Andress plays in the lineup for the ninth time in his career.

The Eagles are paired with UAB and Louisiana Tech for Friday's first round and the groups tee off holes 7-10 at 8 a.m. ET.
