Women’s Soccer Loses to Arkansas State Friday Night in Overtime

Box Score STATESBORO, Ga. – The Georgia Southern women's soccer team lost 1-0 in overtime against Arkansas State on Friday night. 
 
The Eagles kept the Red Wolves scoreless all of regulation time forcing an overtime period. Arkansas State scored off a corner kick in the 95th minute. The goal was scored by Olivia Smith.
 
The Eagles played an aggressive game against the No. 3 team in the Sun Belt. 

Goalkeeper Sallie Newton had three saves during the game and the Eagles took seven shots with two being on goal. Maddie Klintworth had three shots and Brogan Boudreaux, Frida Brattum, Nicole Aussin and Karin Winka had one each.
