Eagle Swimming & Diving Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Honors

Georgia Southern student-athletes carried a 3.57 GPA for Fall 2018

STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern women's swimming & diving team earned CSCAA Scholar All-America Team honors for the Fall 2018 semester, announced today by the coaches' organization.

The Eagles carried a 3.57 GPA during Fall 2019, ranking Georgia Southern tied for 23rd among the NCAA Division I institutions that qualified for the award, which requirs teams to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the Fall Semester and maintain a roster of 12 or more student-athletes. In all, 173 women's DI programs earned the honor.

The 3.57 GPA was a program best for the Fall semester, and Georgia Southern has now earned CSCAA Scholar All-America Team honors for five straight semesters, and 12 out of the last 13 semesters dating back to 2012.

Georgia Southern is currently preparing for the 2019 CCSA Championships, which will take place February 21-23 in Lynchburg, Va.
