Student-athletes from six teams receive stoles Thursday

STATESBORO – Georgia Southern Athletics honored 13 graduating student-athletes with a special stole ceremony Thursday afternoon in the Bishop Field House.
The Athletic Department handed out stoles that will be used to signify student-athletes at Friday's Georgia Southern University commencement ceremony at Allen E. Paulson Stadium. Six of the student-athletes also received rings signifying that they will be graduating with at least a 3.0 grade point average (GPA). Those six are Wesley Fields (football), Drake Grall (football), Colby Ransom (football), Anna Wenger (volleyball), Jocelyn Springer (women's soccer) and Kaylee Ramos (softball).
