
Javier Carbonell Earns CoSIDA Academic All-District Men's Soccer Honors

Senior will be eligible for possible Academic All-America honors, to be announced Dec. 6
STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern men's soccer senior forward Javier Carbonell has been named to the CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-District 4 Men's Soccer team, announced by the organization.
Carbonell carries a 3.74 GPA in interdisciplinary studies at Georgia Southern and will now be eligible for Academic All-American honors, which will be announced on December 6th. The Madrid, Spain, native led the Eagles offensively this season, tying a school record with 15 goals scored. He was named the Sun Belt Conference's Co-Player of the Year and Co-Offensive Player of the Year as well as earning Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week three times this season.
