New Eagles Impress in Coastal Carolina Invitational Day One

Men's Tennis defeats Presbyterian in opening matches
STATESBORO, Ga. – Under clear skies in Coastal Carolina the Eagles competed in the Coastal Carolina Invitational to open up their 2017 fall season. The Blue and White began the Invitational with a match against Presbyterian. The Eagles would take five of the eight singles matches, as well as three of the four doubles matches.
The Eagles will have the evening off before returning to action tomorrow against, conference opponent and host, Coastal Carolina. Play resumes at 2:30 pm for the Eagles.
WHAT HEAD COACH SANDER KONING SAID
"We played with the right mindset today. Some guys looked a little rusty and others got exposed a bit, but that's what the first tournament is for. We have to know where we are so we can figure out where we need to go."
