RECORD CLIMBING
Two members of the 2017 Eagles are quickly climbing up the ranks on different career lists.
• Senior first baseman
Morgan Robinson currently has 140 runs batted in for her career, the second-most all-time at GS. The record is 143 by Robyne Siliga (2005, 2007-09). Her 26 home runs are the sixth most in school history.
• Senior outfielder
Emily Snider has 133 runs scored for her career, ranking second all-time in program history. The record is 163 runs scored by Shanita Black (2003-06). Her 120 career RBIs are the fourth most in program history behind Robinson, Siliga and Jenny Side.
POWER SURGE
After hitting 15 home runs in her first three seasons combined,
Emily Snider has had a breakout senior season in hitting 16 home runs and counting. The senior currently leads all regular GS players with a .390 batting average, 16 home runs and 44 RBIs. Her 16 round-trippers are the second most in program history as she passed Kourtny Thomas (2014), Marie Fogle (2011) and Jenny Side (2008) with three home runs against Savannah State on April 26. The school record for home runs in a season is 18, set by Megan Smith in 2010.
Snider's 31 career home runs are tied for the third most in program history with Jenny Side (2007-10) and Megen Smith (2008-11). The school record is 35 by Robin Siliga (2005, 2007-09) and Kourtny Thomas (2012-14) stands in second place with 33 career bombs.
