NEW ORLEANS – Georgia Southern men's golfers Jake Storey, Steven Fisk and Archer Price have been named All-Sun Belt in a vote by the league's head coaches, the conference announced today.

Storey was named the Sun Belt Golfer of the Year, becoming the seventh Eagle to earn conference Golfer of the Year honors and the first since Scott Wolfes was named the Sun Belt Golfer of the Year in 2015. Fisk joined Storey on the league's first team, and Price was named second-team all-conference.

Storey led the Eagles in scoring average (71.36) and posted four top-10 finishes, including two wins and three in the top-5. The junior won the Georgia Southern Individual Collegiate and tied for first with Fisk at the Sun Belt Championship. Storey tied for third at the Gary Koch Invitational and placed in the top-30 in nine of 11 tournaments this season. He has shot par or better in 19 rounds, including nine of his last 10.

Last year's Sun Belt Freshman of the Year, Fisk topped Storey in a 1-hole playoff to win medalist honors at the Sun Belt Championship, becoming the ninth Eagle to win a conference individual title and the second in the Eagles' three-year stint in the league. The sophomore notched five top-10 finishes and placed in the top-30 in eight of 11 events this season. He ranks second on the squad in scoring average (71.57) and has shot par or better in 18 rounds, including 11 rounds in the 60s.

Price logged seven top-30 finishes and tied for 10th at the Sun Belt Championship. The junior took sixth at the Invitational at The Ocean Course and tied for 12th at the Schenkel Invitational. Price ranks third on the team in scoring average (72.75) and has carded par or better in 16 rounds.

Three selections ties the second-most Georgia Southern has placed on an all-conference team. Four Eagles earned All-Trans America Athletic Conference accolades in 1983, 1986 and 1988.

Georgia Southern will hold an NCAA Men's Golf Selection Show watch party at the Bennett-Ramsey Golf Center Thursday, May 4, beginning at 11:30 a.m. With a Golfstat ranking of 59, the Eagles are safely inside the number to make the 81-team field, and Fisk earned an automatic bid by winning the conference title. The selections announcement will air at noon on the Golf Channel and will stream live on the Golf Channel website.

Georgia Southern has finished in the top-6 in all five tournaments this spring, placing in the top-4 in each of the last four events. The Eagles look to make their 24th appearance in the NCAA Championships, the second under head coach Carter Collins and the seventh in Collins' 11 seasons on of the coaching staff.
