STATESBORO, Ga. – After completing a weeklong road trip to the Lone Star State, the Eagles will now shift their attention to UAB and Troy. The blue and white will be traveling to Birmingham, Alabama on Friday to take on the Blazers of UAB, before heading to Troy to take on the Trojans on Saturday.

"We are looking forward to another couple of tough matches," Head coach Sander Koning said. "We are in the part of the season where every team is competitive and working towards their conference championships, so every match we play will be tough. I believe that the guys are ready for it, we made some adjustments from our previous matches and now it comes down to us doing it. When we do, we give ourselves the best chance to compete."

The Blazers enter play with a 7-6 record and 5-2 at home in Birmingham. UAB began the season hot winning their first four matches, before running into East Tennessee State and Georgia State. The Eagles will continue Sun Belt play when they travel to face off against the Trojans. Troy enters play with an 8-9 record and 4-2 at home.

Last season the Eagles defeated the Trojans 4-1 in their Sun Belt Conference opener. The Eagles would play three conference matches last season, posting a 1-2 record. The blue and white will look to rebound from last weekend's Sun Belt Conference loss at UT-Arlington.

LAST TIME OUT

Last time out the Eagles traveled to Arlington, Texas to take on the Mavericks of UTA and open up Sun Belt Conference play. The Eagles would fall to 0-1 in the conference after a 4-3 loss to UTA. Stefano Di Aloy, Dani Casablancas, and Diego Finkelstein defeated their opponents and helped the Eagles get on the board in singles play. The doubles point would be the early point that the Mavericks needed capping off a 4-3 victory on Saturday.
