STATESBORO, Ga. – Coming off of a 2-0 weekend the Eagles turn their attention to Tennessee Tech and Chattanooga. Tennessee Tech enters Saturday's match with a 1-0 record and is scheduled to compete against UTC on Friday. UTC comes into the weekend 0-4 after playing against No. 9 UNC.

"We are looking forward to the competition," said head coach
Sander Koning. "We will be playing two solid teams who are used to playing indoors this time a year. We played a couple of matches indoors this season too and this should help us this weekend. The guys had a good week of practice and they are ready to compete. We are excited for the challenge ahead of us."

LAST TIME OUT

Last time out the Eagles hosted Alabama State and South Carolina State at the Wallis Tennis Center. The Eagles would sweep the weekend, improving to 4-3 on the season, by defeating both ASU and SCSU 6-1. In the first match of the day the Eagle, would get out to an early 1-0 lead heading into singles play.
Stefano Di Aloy would make quick work of his opponent in his first home match as an Eagle, defeating Carl-Louis Luckmann 6-0, 6-0. The Eagles would go on to defeat ASU 6-1. In the afternoon match, the Eagles would take the doubles point.
Dani Casablancas notched his first singles win this season defeating Soufine Mouline 6-4, 6-2.

Santiago Suarez, and
Stefano Di Aloy would all get off the court quickly and set the tone for the match defeating their opponents in straight sets.
