STATESBORO, Ga. – What was supposed to be the final road trip for the Eagles got cut in half this weekend. The Blue and White were originally scheduled to face off against Appalachian State and Troy, but due to the expected landfall of Hurricane Nate, Troy has been rescheduled to October 29 at 1:00 p.m.
The Mountaineers currently hold a 1-3-2 record in Sun Belt play and are coming off of a tough weekend against Texas State. Appalachian State fell to the Bobcats 4-0 on the road in San Marcos.

SCOUTING APPALACHIAN STATE
The Mountaineers enter this weekend with a 2-8-3 record overall and a 1-3-2 record in conference play. Kat Greer leads the team with eight points, scoring four goals for App State. The Mountaineers have scored 11 goals on the season, while allowing 23 on the season. The Mountaineers have used three goalkeepers this season. Taylor Ray, Sam Steyl, and Lauren Burke all have seen minutes throughout the beginning of the season. Taylor Ray has been the main keeper for the Mountaineers posting 43 saves and giving up just over 1.86 goals per game.
SERIES HISTORY
The Eagles currently lead the series over the Mountaineers 15-14-1, with Appalachian State defeating the Blue and White 2-1 in the last meeting.
