STATESBORO, Ga. – After clinching a spot in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, the Eagles will head to Troy, Alabama for the final regular season match of the year. The match was originally scheduled for October 8^th, but was changed due to the threat of Hurricane Nate.

The Eagles currently sit in 6^th place with 13 points on the season and are facing off against Troy who currently sits in 4^th place with 15 points. Due to holding the tiebreaker over Arkansas State the Eagles can move as high as 3^rd place to finish the season. The Eagles are coming off of a victory on senior day where they defeated ULM 2-0 to clinch a spot in the tournament.

Frida Brattum continues to lead the Eagles with 5 goals and 2 assists on the year. Lauren Karinshak posted her fifth clean-sheet of the year and has improved her record to 7-6-1 on the season. Her latest shutout helped the Eagles clinch a spot in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament for the first time since 2015.
