WGOLF Preview: Eagles Compete in Jacksonville Classic

It's the third tourney of the fall for Georgia Southern.

Courses: Marsh Landing Country Club - Par 72, 5,967 yards
Location: Jacksonville, Fla.
Tee Times and Format: Two days, 36 holes, Monday and 18 Tuesday - Shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. both days

Georgia Southern plays its third tournament of the season as the Eagles compete at the Jacksonville Classic Monday and Tuesday. It's the second straight season the Eagles have played in the tournament.
GS will use the same lineup as the previous two events, and junior Ansley Bowman will compete in her 19th career tournament.
Bowman and sophomore Ella Ofstedahl are tied for the team lead in scoring average with a mark of 78.00. GS is coming off a 16th-place finish at the Lady Paladin Intercollegiate Sept. 22.
The Eagles are paired with Charleston Southern and Stetson for the first two rounds Monday and will tee off holes 5-7 in a shotgun start.
Following the event, GS travels to the Terrier Intercollegiate in Spartanburg Oct. 23-24.
