DAVIDSON, N.C. - Georgia Southern Swimming & Diving put a bow on the 2016-17 regular season on Saturday with a good final day at the Davidson Duals. Bre Stuart placed second in the 200 Breast while Gretchen Mossburg swept the weekend's diving events. The Eagles defeated Gardner-Webb 173-169 to record a 1-2 team record in the meet.
"We did a much better job as a whole of racing today," said head coach Laura Thomas. "We have some areas that we need to sharpen up before our conference meet. Overall, I am pleased with the weekend and I am really looking forward to seeing these girls rested and suited up in a few weeks in Athens at the CCSA Championships.
