ROCK HILL, SC – The Georgia Southern women's soccer team topped the Winthrop Eagles 3-2 on Saturday afternoon.

Sarah Price all sunk goals for Georgia Southern in today's contest, leading them to their second straight win.

WHAT COACH BRIAN DUNLEAVY SAID
"We showed great character on the road to come from behind twice. We have to do a better job at keeping things tight defensively, Winthrop is a very hard working team and at times we didn't match their work ethic. The game wasn't pretty but the positives are that we came away with a positive result. To our credit, we scored three outstanding goals, the finishing was also pure quality. It's time for us to take another step forward and improve as a group."
