Eagles Topped by Jacksonville State 3-1

Senior Alana McShane recorded her first goal as an Eagle

JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – The Georgia Southern women's soccer team traveled to Jacksonville, Alabama for their second game of the regular season. Senior Alana McShane tallied her first career goal in the match, but it wasn't enough for the Eagles as they fell 3-1.

"Tough game today for us. We had more possession, created a lot of chances, but we just didn't finish as well as we should have," said head coach Brian Dunleavy. "It's always going to be tough when you dig yourself into a hole like we did. It's a big learning moment for our players and I know that they will become stronger from this experience."
