STATESBORO, Ga. – Paint the Town Blue Week continued Wednesday with a luncheon at the SpringHill Suites Southern Hospitality Conference Center.

Georgia Southern Interim President Dr. Jean Bartels, Chair of the South Main Revitalization Committee Darron Burnette, women's soccer coach Brian Dunleavy, men's soccer coach Kevin Kennedy and volleyball coach Dustin Wood all spoke at the event.

Guests were treated to a musical performance by the Statesboro High Chorus, partook of excellent fare, courtesy of The Millhouse, and were surrounded by the artwork of Bulloch County elementary school students. The students' entries into the art contest will be on display again this evening from 4-6 p.m. at Community Art Night, a component of Paint the Town Blue Week.
