Eagle netminder records his first shutout of the season against the Blue Hose
STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Men's Soccer goalkeeper Jack Falle was named Sun Belt Co-Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week on Tuesday after leading the Eagles defense to the team's first win of the season. Falle notched his first shutout of the season last Wednesday in a 5-0 whitewash over the Presbyterian College Blue Hose.
Falle stopped three shots in the match to pick up his sixth career clean sheet and first of the season.
After more than a week off, the Eagles return to action on Friday night with a trip to South Florida to start a run of five road matches. Kickoff against the Bulls is set for 7 p.m. on the Florida Suncoast.
