LAST MATCHGeorgia Southern dropped their last away game against North Florida, on a penalty kick that pushed the Osprey's ahead 1-0.
SCOUTING UL LAFAYETTE AND UL MONROEThe Ragin' Cajuns' junior forward Yazmin Montoya is currently in second place all-time in points and assists in ULL history, racking up 51 points and 11 assist throughout her career. Another junior up-top, Annika Schmidt, looks to keep her scoring streak going, after grabbing a hat trick last week against Grambling State.
The Warhawks have won their past three games, and look to take their first conference game of the season to put them 1-0 in the conference, for the first time since 2001 when they were in the Southland Conference. ULM has a dynamic offense, boasting 10 scorers this season thus far.
SERIES HISTORYLast season, Georgia Southern beat Lafayette 2-1 and Monroe 3-1 after their first matchup to lead both series 1-0.
NEXT UPNext weekend, the team travels to Arkansas for a two-game road swing against the Sun Belt's Little Rock (Oct. 2) and Arkansas State (Oct. 4).
