STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Women's Soccer visits Alabama State on Friday night at 5 p.m. (CT)/6 p.m. (ET) in Montgomery. The Eagles enter the game just 48 hours removed from the team's second-straight win, a 2-0 triumph over Winthrop.

SCOUTING ASUThe Hornets enter Friday's game winless on the year at 0-4-1. They, however, have had some close calls, drawing USC Upstate 3-3 and a 3-2 loss to Troy on the opening week of the year. In their other three contests, the Hornets have been outscored a combined 15-0.
SERIES HISTORYFriday's match will be the second meeting between the Eagles and Hornets after Georgia Southern took a 3-0 victory last year in Statesboro. The Eagles needed only 73 minutes to get the win after lightning brought a halt to the contest.
NEXT UPFollowing Friday's match the Eagles will be off for nearly a week before visiting South Florida next Thursday. Three days later Georgia Southern will visit North Florida to close non-conference play.
