STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Men's Soccer heads back out on the road with a trip to South Florida on Friday night for a 7 p.m. match in Tampa. The contest starts a run of five-straight road games for the Eagles. Fans can watch the game online on BullsCast at GoUSFBulls.com.

The Eagles enter Friday's match on the heels of an extended rest of nine days following the opening flurry of games. The season started with three matches in the first six days of the season. Georgia Southern is 1-2-0 entering Friday's non-conference battle following a 2-0 shutout win over Presbyterian College.

As a result of the win, Georgia Southern goalkeeper Jack Falle was named Sun Belt Conference co-defensive student-athlete of the week for his hand in the shutout. Falle picked up his first clean sheet of the season as the Eagles picked up their first win of the year, bouncing back from a pair of defeats to start the year.

South Florida enters Friday's match at 2-2-0 on the year with a 2-0 win over No. 3 Georgetown on its resume. The Bulls lost by identical 2-0 lines last weekend to No. 5 Notre Dame and No. 18 Indiana in South Bend. The Bulls feature 16 international players on their roster from 14 different countries.

The Eagles trail in the all-time series 6-2 and dropped last year's trip to Corbett Stadium by a 2-0 margin. Georgia Southern is looking for its first win over the Bulls since 1997 when the Eagles took a 4-3 win on the Florida Suncoast.
