Men’s Soccer Gameday: Eagles Visit South Carolina on Monday Night

STATESBORO, Ga. – Just 72 hours removed from the 2015 season opener, Georgia Southern Men's Soccer visits South Carolina for the first road game of the season. The match, which starts at 7 p.m., can be seen live on SEC Network Plus at WatchESPN.com.

The Eagles enter the match at 0-1 on the year following a 3-1 loss to Stetson in the 2015 season opener. The match was tied late with overtime imminent, but two late goals by the Hatters gave the visitors the season-opening win.

Eric Dinka scored the goal for Georgia Southern in the 20th minute to tie the match at 1-1. His goal came just 37 seconds after the Eagles conceded a penalty. Stetson scored twice in the 85th minute to secure the win.

The Eagles will have less than 48 hours for recovery before facing Presbyterian College on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. The Eagles and Blue Hose square-off in a match that can be seen live on GS All-Access.
